In person or online

In-person sessions in Coquitlam include the $10 travel fee that applies outside Burnaby, plus a possible additional charge for addresses that take significantly longer to reach — we quote that clearly before anything is booked. Online sessions have no travel fee at all and are available anywhere, which for Tri-Cities families is often the more sensible default during the school year.

A well-run online session isn't a compromise. Both people write on a shared whiteboard, the student keeps everything afterwards, and there's no half-hour of driving on either side of it.
